Horses are animals that are a part of our culture in many ways. We see horses in movies and in television shows. In fact, one of the most beloved television shows of the 1960s was Mr. Ed. Mr. Ed was a television show about a talking horse and his owner Wilbur. In addition to horses being a part of both the television and cinema landscape, horses provide us with pleasure in the sports arena with the sport of horse racing.
